06:41 pm - My summer so far... Ooh, it's been quite a while since I last up-dated this! Firstly, Fflam festival was cancelled a week before it was set to happen, which was really dissapointing. It's the closest place to me that Placebo would have ever played in to date! It's a shame I didn't get to see them again =( I've been having a good summer holiday so far. I've spent quite a lot of time with Ed, he's come up to mine and I've stayed down at his house in Plymouth. He's coming up mine tommorow. I've been spending quite a bit of money on various DS and Wii games & so have been spending quite a lot of time playing those. A couple of my all-time favourite games have come out recently, which has been great. Today I went to the hairdressers to bleach the underneath 1/3 of my hair blonde. The bleach didn't work too well & I ended up needing to apply it 3 times! Finally my hair became light enough to dye bright colours & my hair is still strong! Since getting home I have dyed the blonde a bright pink. It's come out really well. I'll no doubt post some photos in the future. It's getting so close to my holiday to Barcelona now! I can't wait! The hotel looks amazing, here are some photos of it: The bathroom in the room is entirely made of glass! Luckily they do have blinds, so I can hide from Ed =P I'm really looking forward to going! 09:50 am - My week with the lovely Ed Ed went home yesterday; wish he'd come back! He stayed here from Sat 31st March to Sat 7th April. I had a really awesome week, we pretty much spent our time watching Family Guy, drinking beer & eating ice cream outside in the sun. He says he'll be coming up again soon & I might be going to his house next half-term ^_^ Took quite a few photos during the week, to see them click here! Well, today is Easter Sunday, but it's kinda crappy because I hate Easter eggs. I did get some nice Guylian chocolates with one egg though =) Now I have a week of being bored and working to look forward to =/ Apart from that I don't really have anything interesting to write, don't have anything planned other than seeing Ed again & a holiday to Barcelona in August. 09:27 pm - Latest News Hung out at Paul's last weekend which was fun. Got to play on the Wii for the first time. I really want one now! I bought the Ultimate Matrix Boxset last week. Think I might start watching some of it tonight. I was going to meet up with my old friend Androo, but he can't make it now, so I have a night alone again! Anyhowww, I'm off to watch some TV. 09:00 pm Well...the shoot was ok, but it was outdoors & it was wet and cold -.- got a few decent pics. The Christmas holidays were pretty boring, but I can't say I expected them to be very fun =p Not really up to much recently. Went round my friend's house today to see his pet corn snakes. They were really cool. I would love to have one but there's no way I could feed it mice or rats! Maybe I'll get one when I live with someone who can feed it for me, lol. I'm kinda glad the hair dresser screwed up now, I like the black hair, I think it suits me more. I was unsure about it at first but I'd never seen myself with proper dark hair before! It looks longer now for some reason =S Oooh, I've got some pretty good DVD deals recently. I've always quite liked Nip/Tuck but never really made an effort to watch it, so I was thinking the other day that I would buy season 1 if I found it for under £30...and then 2 days later I found it for just £19 in Tescos ^.^ I've also just bought Sugar Rush season 1 & 2 box set for £10. I'm looking forward to watching them. Yeah, this is a pretty boring journal entry, but I'm super bored and I can't say I'm expecting anyone to read this anyway! If they do they must be pretty bored themselves! Right, well I'm off to go get something to eat now. 06:12 pm Thought I would post a quick update =] Christmas was ok. Pretty boring, but that was expected! Got a few nice presents - a really nice Hello Kitty phone that lights up when someone's ringing and a few other small things. I got a nice new LCD monitor for my PC. I'm having my old computer back from my brother. I gave it to him when I got my laptop but I've now decided it would be handy to have it back again as this laptop doesn't have half the space. He's got the old one from the study and the study has a new PC altogether, so it all works out. The worst thing about the old PC was the awful screen, so with my new shiny flat screen it will be fine =) Monsters Inc. was on TV on Christmas day so the whole family watched it. I never get bored of that movie. I must have seen it around 20 times at least, hehe. Had my mum's family round for lunch today. She only told me like 10 minutes before they arrived. I was still lay in bed :S We're going up to there's for lunch on New Years day. I'm in the process of getting some more photoshoots arranged. The first one is this Saturday in Swansea. Should be fun. 11:33 pm - Final Week of College! Well, it’s now my last week of college. Today was my last day at Buttons Nursery. Just before I left, they gave me a mug with ‘Student’ on it, a card from the staff, and best of all; a card from the children with their handprints on, as you can see here: (Click on the photos to see the full size images) The one on the top is from the young babies (under 2 years) and the one on the bottom is 2-4 years. It’s a really nice thing to have as a reminder :] I shall miss the nursery & all the kids there. Hmm I seem to have come down with another bug. I have a sore throat, again. It’s all I ever seem to get. So annoying after a while. On Friday, all my college class and our tutors are going to go out bowling in the day. We were going out for a drink too in the night, but that’s not happening anymore. I’ll be going out on Saturday anyway to celebrate my distinction (well, hoping that I get a distinction anyway!) because it’s my uncle’s 50th birthday and my family are invited to some secret party for him in Camarthen. I shall update this again soon when I get the results of my college course. I’ll be so disappointed if I don’t reach a distinction. I’ve worked so hard for it! 02:15 pm - Nursery Hey. Just worked the whole week in a nursery. I didn't like at first, but now I am really enjoying it there. I'm getting more used to the babies/toddlers that go there and learning more about how to talk to them and interact with them. I'm glad now, because when they're crying they will come to me, and usually, I can stop them crying :p Quite a few of them like to sit on my lap. The little tiny babies like to grab my hair, nose stud (ouch!) and glasses, and the slightly older ones (over 1 year) prefer me to read to them and such. I felt a bit of a twat at first doing things, but now I'm really getting used to it. I'm also fine with reading to them now. It's not THAT nice knowing that 3 other nursery workers can hear you reading, but meh, I've got used to it now! After I finish this college course in June, I'm hopefully going to get a job in a nursery. I would like a job in the one I'm in right now as I know all the kids and workers. The workers there are really nice too :] It's now just 8 days until I see the wonderful Placebo in Birmingham Academy :] I cannot wait! I'm traveling up to J's in 6 days. I have at least £160 to spend, woo! Ah for anyone who is on VF, I have created a Placebo cult. It's very new at the moment, needs some more members :p Link here: So yeah, fellow VF-ers, join! 11:50 pm Well yesterday in work placement was lovely. I got 4 Christmas cards from the children, one of them had even bought one that said 'To a Great Teacher' on the front ^.^ OK so I'm not a teacher, but the 4 year old kids don't know that! The head teacher of the school even rang the head of my college course to tell them what a 'delight' it is to have me in their school :p they asked me if I could come in today and I said I wasn't sure if my tutors would let me, so they rang up the college the they said I could. I spent all of today taking down the Christmas displays (as it's the last day of term). Feels odd to take down Christmas stuff before Christmas! I'm going to Cardiff again tommorow. Wont be doing much though. Need to take my tongue bars back to the shop because it fell apart in my mouth and leaked glue :S I have a hell of a lot of college work to do over these 2 weeks off, but at least I've quit work now and so I will have a lot more time to do it. Need a new job sometime soon though because I really need money! Ahhh finally, it's the Christmas holidays. Sadly I have loads of college work to do :( I really have to get it dome. 09:19 am I can't believe it....I'm ill again! I felt fine on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, but today I woke up feeling incredibly sick, and later was sick around about 5 times. College are so going to think that I'm messing about! Ah well I could do with today off anyway. There's work that I've needed to do for 2 weeks and I STILL haven't done it! Luckily, I have missed the days that it needs to be in! They'd go crazy at me if they found out that I still haven't done it when I've missed 2 weeks of college! I might be having another shoot again this week. Thing is fitting in time for it! I can't really go if I'm ill, and if I'm not ill I'm pretty sure my parents wouldn't let me miss more college for it! I could do it after college, but it would be getting dark then, and the shoot is going to be outside... Oooo, I now have my new booties ^.^ I searched for them for ages in my size, I decided to try on yet another size 6, even though I couldn't get my foot into the last size 6 I tried on, but amazingly these ones fitted, even though they are the exact same boots! I was so happy, lol! They're on the floor next to me now, and I really want to put them all, but I still haven't got out my pjs yet! I should get changed just so I can wear them ^.^ ...lol....I'm sad :p Humm I'm tired. I might go back to sleep. I do have work to do though o.O Ah bugger work, I'm off to sleep!
